Pete, the weight is starting to trend in the right direction. Keep at it! At the moment I'd say your workouts might still be a bit short to deliver large calorie burning benefits. As the weather improves and you can run outside more I think that will change and the trend you have started should accelerate. The mists are swirling, but I think I can make out the number 220 and the number 6.
You asked me about RHR. No I haven't been tracking it. I should, but I can't easily do it without disturbing 'er indoors. Was wondering, do you measure it with the monitor or just a pulse count with your watch? I imagine that just the act of putting the monitor belt on would interfere with the numbers.
I get up, weigh in, put on a pot of coffee, and go back to bed where I then do a pulse count with my watch. I take a count for two full minutes and record the average of the two.
This is my fitness blog, which I use to track my progress on the road to fitness, using running and indoor rowing as my primary vehicles. Yeah, it's a little dry. Check http://beerlocavore.blogspot.com/ for comments on beer and food and life its ownself, as seen through my scratched and battered lenses.
